Prof Agranovski has 34 years of research and industrial experience in the areas of air quality control and monitoring, bioaerosol research and nanotechnology, both in academia and industry worldwide. He has consulted for 51 companies worldwide and developed over 30 new technologies. He has been invited to serve on organising committees, has frequently chaired various sessions and has delivered keynote speeches at a number of international conferences and congresses. He was Editor of CLEAN-Soil, Air, Water Journal and a member of the editorial board of the Chemical Engineering and Technology Journal published by Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In 2007 he was invited to become ARC OzReader and accepted this invitation to begin acting in this role in 2008. He started at Griffith University on 01.01.1994 and currently runs three laboratories on the Nathan Campus, including air quality control, bioaerosol and nanotechnology facilities fully equipped to undertake any type of research in these areas. Nine researchers and post graduate students work full time on various aerosol and nanotechnology related projects.
