Wide Bandgap Light Emitting Materials And Devices

Wide bandgap light emitter include laser diodes (LD) and light-emitting diodes (LED), the most modern diodes widely used in up-to-date technologies as microelectronics and optoelectronics. The two main materials used in such diodes are GaN and ZnSe. This handbook deals with recent research results on these wide bandgap light emitting materials, introducing new concepts for devices based on the materials.
