Expect this book to lead you to places that are original, individual and welcoming. In the fifth edition, as well as entirely independent 'finds', we have included properties belonging to the 'Pazos de Galicia' association. These are usually manor houses, of particular historical and architectural importance, which dot the Galician landscape. We also include members of 'Rusticae', an association of hotels that have kept their character and personal service. We hope all the properties we've chosen will bring you closer to the Spain that we love, a country whose people are vibrant, spontaneous, incredibly friendly and fiercly proud of their dramatically contrasting regions.
