Rigg (history, American Military U. and Southern Methodist U.) tells how American officials and leaders of German military intelligence achieved the secret rescue of the Rebbe Joseph Schneersohn, the leader of the ultra-Orthodox Lubavitcher Jews, who had been in Warsaw when the Nazis invaded in 1939. The escape has been the subject of much speculation for decades.
