Robert Aldrich is Professor of European History at the University of Sydney, and is the author of The Seduction of the Mediterranean: Writing, Art and Homosexual Fantasy and Colonialism and Homosexuality. He has co-edited two volumes of Who's Who in Gay and Lesbian History, as well as several volumes of essays on Australian gay and lesbian studies.
