An adolescent, excited by the reading of "Moby Dick, takes advantage of his summer vacation to board a whaler in Australia to see for the first time those seas where real and fictional heroes still navigate. Many years later, the young Chilean protagonist, already an adult and living on the other side of the planet, a journalist and an active member of Greenpeace, returns to the faraway places of his youthful escape for a very different, but equally romantic reason. Pirate ships are hunting the sea fauna that lives in the frozen waters of the world at the end of the world. He must follow their bloody track marks, find proofs, denounce and stop their barbaric activities, and also save Sarita, who is trapped in a dark web of international interests.
