A fascinating of overview of the history of football. Richly illustratedand an enjoyable text, all endorsed by the world governing body, FIFA. Iparticularly liked the chapter on national styles of play. England getsome what of hard time, but in fairness, following our recent Euro 2004exit, the author's comments are spot on. A great book.
