Born and brought up in Reutlingen, Germany, I studied Latin and German Language and Literature at the University of Tübingen. In my year abroad as Foreign Language Assistant in Aberfeldy, Scotland, I fell in love with the country and its people and after my degree returned to Perthshire where I have lived since 1994.
In my day job, I teach English as an Additional Language to students from all over the world. I love the English language and play Scrabble and Wordle most days with my family. My husband and I also enjoy travelling the world and bird watching.
My first crime novel, Near Miss, is set in Scotland’s atmospheric capital city, Edinburgh, and more adventures of journalist Amy Thornton and DI Russell McCord are soon to follow.
