This book presents a practical account of the diagnosis and management of ophthalmic disorders in children, and is aimed at the non-specialist opthalmic surgeon for whom children make up only part of his/her practice. It will also, however, be of interest to trainee ophthalmologists and paediatricians. The book makes liberal use of illustrations, with more than 400 colour photographs borrowed from the second edition of David Taylor's highly successful specialist reference book, Paediatric Ophthalmology. It is written in a concise, note-like style in order to convey the most practical information in the smallest space. The text is generously sprinkled with lists, tables, summaries and boxes to guide the reader quickly to the relevant place.
