Laura's Star

Laura is often lonely but one night she sees a falling star and runs downstairs to find it lying damaged, on the pavement outside. Laura takes it to her room, mends it, and lays it tenderly on her pillow. She tells the star all her secrets but when she wakes in the morning, the star is gone.
