This text for library technicians working in technical services and students in library technology programs examines terminology, organization, and the practical aspects of tasks that technical services workers deal with on a daily basis. Subjects discussed include computer and library automation, bibliographic utilities and networks, and preservation of materials. The text is for students in a two-year library technology program or a one-year certificate program. The author was director of library services and coordinator of the Library Technology Program at Three Rivers Community Technical College for some 25 years. She is now a training consultant.
