India Development Report 2004

Continuing the debates of previous IDR's, this report analyzes India's key developmental issues in the light of trends and statistics from 2004. Recent IPR data is used to determine winners and losers in India's economy, and their role in shaping new policy is examined. The use of new digital, genetical and molecular technologies in rural and undeveloped areas is also explored.
