Electronic Reserve

Driscoll (associate university librarian and chair, Access Services, George A. Smathers Libraries, University of Florida) walks through the start-up process for implementing an electronic reserve system, presenting general guidelines and practices for designing and staffing a library. Issues related to fair use of copyrighted materials are discussed along with aspects of everyday e-resource management, such as training, hardware and software, and workflow. Sample letters, forms, and checklists are included. The book has been co-published simultaneously as Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Information Supply, vol. 14, no. 1, 2003.
