Milly Lockwood Groves is stuck at her parent's stud farm outside Newmarket, her dream of making it as a jockey in tatters. Her father has forbidden her from riding, after an accident, and her mother is determined to make her more ladylike, so Milly must watch her odious brother Jasper pursuing the career she so badly wanted.
