Crusader Warfare v 1

The Crusades were the product of a remarkable variety of political, economic, cultural and religious factors. They involved an extraordinary array of states, ruling dynasties, ethnic or linguistic groups and fighting forces. This study attempts to leap beyond the Islamic World to look at Christian and in a few cases pagan armies whose actions or existence had a bearing upon military, political and economic relations between Christendom and Islam.
